Europe’s fastest-growing boating company Axopar is now looking for a motivated and proactive Financial Assistant to join the growing team! The position is full-time with a 12-month fixed-term contract, with a possibility of extension.

As a Financial Assistant, your daily tasks are mainly related to accounting. More specifically, your main tasks are related to:

Accounts receivable: sales invoicing, following up on and collecting receivables, and other supportive tasks
Accounts payable: adding invoices into the accounting system, monitoring and setting up rules for the electronic invoice handling flow in the accounting system, monitoring that the payments are done in due time, and other supportive tasks
Accounting: supportive tasks within bookkeeping, such as accounting of invoices

Additionally, you also take part in other finance and accounting-related and supportive tasks at the office, as well as deputizing others during vacations. According to your skills and interest, you can also contribute to process development and other development tasks. As a Financial Assistant, you will be working in close cooperation with the finance team and other internal and external stakeholders, so we hope you have good team working and communication skills. You already have some experience in working with tasks related to finance and accounting - for example, prior experience in account receivables and payables, closing of accounts and/ or management accounting will help you to succeed in this role. As a person, you are a natural prioritizer and you keep up with schedules easily. Most importantly, we hope you are a true team player with a growth mindset; you are willing to learn and you are truly interested in growing your expertise in financial administration.

-Previous experience in finance and accounting related tasks
-Relevant educational background
-Proactive, precise and schedule-oriented working style
-Good oral and written communication skills in English - skills in Finnish are seen as an asset

-Familiarity with NetVisor
