FA Solutions is now looking for a Technical Consultant to join their new and agile team that consists of five people that are located both in Finland and Sweden. The team is responsible for enabling FA Solutions clients, such as Asset Managers, Fund Managers, Private Banks, Robo Advisors, and Family Offices to customize their FA Platform’s independently to match their own specific needs. The team also provides different kinds of services around the FA Platform’s customizability.

As a Technical Consultant at FA Solutions you will be working in the customer interface, mainly with FA Solutions new clients and providing support and services around the FA Platform’s customizable features, such as reporting, integrations and API’s. You’ll be responsible for the whole life cycle of the customizing process, from planning and estimating to delivering. You’ll be mainly supporting the clients to customize their FA Platform’s independently but sometimes you will be implementing the customizations by yourself. Your tasks also include developing, promoting, and maintaining FA's Developer Guide (a catalog about the customizable features) together with the team. Your specific tasks will be assigned based on your skills and interests.

In this role, you will be working with various different stakeholders and clients, which highlights the importance of excellent communication skills and a customer oriented mindset. To plan, estimate and deliver customizations you’ll also need to possess basic project working skills, a systematic and analytical approach and the ability to solve different problems. Prior experience in similar tasks is an asset but not a requirement: with willingness to learn new things and interest towards programming and / or scripting you will succeed in the role.

In this position, you will be employed directly to FA Solutions.The position is based in FA Solution’s Helsinki office, but some traveling might be required.

We require from you:
- A relevant technical study background (or studies in the final stages)
- Interest in programming and scripting
- Some earlier work experience (preferably from similar tasks, for example from requirement specifications, testing or project management) and a customer oriented mindset
- Good writing skills and ability to produce high quality documentation
- Problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new things
- Fluent communication skills in English

We consider as an asset:

- Understanding of financial instruments and investment management
