Vapaa tekstiHello my name is kelvin aliche and I am student in kuopio, I am currently doing my second degree at Savonia UAS in Information technology. I had my first degree in computer engineering at Caritas university, Nigeria. After my first degree in computer engineering I worked as an IT support technician in different companies. The nature of my job was that I was the first line of IT support for customers and work team, I was able to resolve escalated problems from customers and worker within a specific time period. The kind of issues I handled was directly focused on IT related issues like, poor internet connection or access, security issues, LAN and wireless issues, basic computer issues, increase of internet bandwidth for customers and many more IT related issues. I was supposed to resolve this issues with a given time and if I wasn’t able to resolve this issue within the time I would escalate to the upper level which was the 2nd line of support. I had a lot of contact with customers globally via emails, phone calls and social media and right now I think I am capable of engaging with customers despite the issues they are facing as I now understand that customers might be angry and frustrated due to the issues they face and the key is keep them calm and make them understand that I am here to help them. After my 2 years experience as an IT support specialist I took a 6 month’s training in cybersecurity to increase my IT skills in security as I understand that most issues customers face can sometimes be security related. I am confident of my IT support skills as well as my customer relationships skills. I am currently in my first year at Savonia UAS as an IOT student, I am on this journey to broaden my scope in the IT space as the tech world keeps evolving and I am trying to catch up with my field. I hope to complete my studies by 2026 and I believe if I was to work in any company right now I would be a huge addition to the team right now with my current experience as well as in long term once I complete this degree.
