ICEYE: People Operations Specialist (fixed-term contract of 6 months)

A growing international New Space company ICEYE is now looking for a People Operations Specialist to join their team in Espoo! This is a temporary position until the end of 2025 (approx. 6 months), with a possibility for an extension depending on the team’s needs. We hope you can start as soon as possible and will proceed with suitable candidates already during the application period. In this role, you will be a valued member of the People Operations team, helping to manage the day-to-day as we continue to grow and scale at hyper-speed. You will work closely with colleagues and employees around the world, handling a variety of people-related matters and ensuring processes move forward efficiently. While we appreciate a hands-on and proactive way of working, you will also have the support of your team.

More specifically, your primary responsibilities are the following:

- Acting as a main point of contact for employees globally via our ticketing system, handling a wide range of HR inquiries related to benefits, policies, and employee lifecycle events
- Providing administrative support and guidance in line with our global people processes, ensuring compliant and consistent ways of working across the countries where ICEYE operates
- Preparing and managing employee contracts, administering benefits, and maintaining accurate personnel data in our HRIS (Hibob) and other platforms, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
- Coordinating onboarding activities, supporting new employees’ smooth start, and keeping internal process documentation and knowledge databases up to date
- Identifying opportunities to streamline, improve, and automate processes in collaboration with the team

We hope you have:
- Around 2+ years of relevant experience in HR Coordinator, HR Generalist, or similar roles, ideally with some exposure to an international environment
- The ability to work independently, take ownership, and solve problems proactively
- Previous knowledge of Finnish labor law
- Knowledge and experience in using Google environment tools (Sheets and Slides)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English
