Are you interested in the event industry and want to be part of an innovative startup environment? A Helsinki-based startup is now looking for an enthusiastic intern to conduct market research on Nordic event organizers and venues.

What’s the Role?

We are developing a technology solution & e-commerce platform specifically designed for the event industry. Our platform enhances event experiences (sports, concerts & festivals) by allowing event attendees to pre-order food, drinks, merchandise, activities, and VIP services. So far we have build better events with Ticketmaster, LiveNation, HIFK & Jokerit just to name a few. Currently, we operate in Finland with plans to expand into the Nordics during 2024/25.

What Will You Do as an Intern?

As an intern, you will deepen your understanding of the event industry and develop your skills in the following ways:

Conduct comprehensive market research on Nordic event organizers and venues to support our Nordic expansion

Tap yourself into the Nordic event ecosystem & network with hundreds of Nordic event venues & event organizers through interviews conducted as part of your market research

Be part of an inspiring startup environment where we build new technological solutions to solve pressing problems in the event industry

What Are We Looking For?

Interest in the event industry and technological solutions

Strong communication and networking skills

Analytical and independent working style

Fluency in Finnish is NOT a must; knowledge of other Nordic languages is a plus

Compensation

This is a project based unpaid internship, but we try to make it fun with the opportunity to attend all of our sports events, concerts, and more for free. We also give you the opportunity to decide your own working hours and working location, including working from abroad. As we will be expanding our operations towards the end of 2024 / early 2025, this internship can lead to a paid position at Linecut, where you'll then have the opportunity shape your own role according to your strengths in interests. We're also very open to turning this internship into a thesis assignment.

We would prefer you working for us full-time, but with the right candidate we're also open to negotiate on a part-time role. The position will be filled as soon as we find a suitable candidate.
