Are you interested in climate issues and want to build a more sustainable tomorrow? VSB Uusiutuva Energia Suomi is now looking for a Technical & Commercial Manager to join its growing team. In this new role, you will be responsible for the technical and commercial management of wind farms and solar parks in operation. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to innovate VSB's service operations!

As a Technical and Commercial Manager, you will be a member of the international service team. Your main task is to manage the Finnish subsidiary wind farms and solar park in operation and support construction team already in construction phase. You will play the key role in three-party relationship management between constructor, park owner and service. You will manage wind farms’ and solar parks’ daily operations, service providers and subcontractors. This means the role includes day-to-day monitoring of technical, contractual, and commercial administration. On the technical side, you will ensure that Wind farms and Solar parks are monitored, continuously generating electricity, and fulfilling contractual obligations of service and maintenance. You will assess risks and opportunities based on a thorough analysis of all factors involved in a business situation. Your working days will also include reviewing permits and legal compliances assisting in reviewing documents and initiating appropriate corrective actions. After all, you will ensure that relevant stakeholders receive collated monthly and quarterly reports on strategic activities. This position is new for the Finnish subsidiary, so you get a chance to develop your own working environment.

We hope you live near Oulu, but you can also work from anywhere in Finland. Orientation to the position will be organized in Germany and it is held in a few separate weeks. The starting date will be negotiated as the right person is found, but your team is already looking forward to meeting you so we hope you can start as soon as possible. In this position, you will be employed directly to VSB Uusiutuva Energia Suomi Oy.

We require you to have:
- At least two years of experience in renewable energy business- and/or Technical & Commercial Service field
- Master’s bachelor’s or bachelor’s degree in technology, business development, business management, business administration or a related field
- Projects-, customer and contract management experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Finnish and English
- Business-oriented thinking
- Excellent negotiation skills
