Summer Trainee, Control Systems Engineer

We are looking for Control Systems Engineer as a Summer Trainee to join Normet’s Control Systems team in Iisalmi, Finland. The position is full time and fixed-term, and it takes place on 1.6-31.8.2023. Possibilities to continue work after summer work can be discussed. 

Our team is responsible of control system development for Normet equipment portfolio.  In this position, you will participate in the control system development process by writing specifications and testing machine control system or related functionalities.  Responsibilities and tasks may be adjusted based on the competence, studies and subject of person interest. 

What we expect from you?

-Engineering or other studies (Technology) in relevant field 

-Studies or experience from power electronics is considered as an advantage 

-Good communication skills in Finnish and English

-Have the right attitude to work with a global network of people with different personalities and cultural backgrounds

-Be able to work both independently and as part of a team

-Be proactive and eager to learn
