Summer Trainee, Production Planning

We are looking for Trainee to join Normet’s Operations Planning team in Iisalmi, Finland on 2nd of May – 31st August, 2023.

Operations Planning team is responsible for Iisalmi factory master planning and scheduling. In this position, you will participate in our versatile production planning activities and gain valuable experience for future career development. You will work closely with several key stakeholders including production, logistics, purchasing and engineering.

What we expect from you?

-Be a bachelor / master degree’s student in Engineering or Economic sciences
-Studies or experience from production planning, logistics&supply chain management, operations research or industrial management are considered as an advantage
-Good communication skills in Finnish and English
-Have the right attitude to work with a global network of people with different personalities and cultural backgrounds
-Be able to work both independently and as part of a team
-Be proactive and eager to learn
-Have a can-do and results-driven attitude
