About the role
In this role, you align with developers and testers about the readiness of deployment content. The content can include various changes such as bug fixes and minor enhancements. You make sure successful deployment by careful planning, scheduling and coordinating any other needed actions such as executing test scenarios. When developing a new application or doing a major upgrade, you will work closely with development project team. You will review the requirements and confirm that the team has optimal solutions. You support the team in go-live rehearsals and the actual production go-live. After the deployment you take charge of the new development in production. You will be working hands-on with incidents in production, dive deep to collect and analyze system logs and monitor data. You estimate the incident impact to the system and propose solutions how to fix it. You can work with the support team when needed and propose solutions. Based on learnings from previous incidents, you will identify improvement areas and propose preventive measures, so the same incidents won’t happen again. Moreover, as part of your job, you identify approaches to increase the stability of the production system. This role expects flexibility for on-call work as well as occasional overtime work.

Job duties
- Collaborating with developers and testers to plan, schedule and deploy fixes and minor enhancements
- Reviewing requirements, the specifications and easy to maintain solutions
- Collecting system logs and monitoring data to find the root cause of incidents, estimate impact, verifying when the system is restored and up and running again
- Continuously looking for ways to improve the IT service
- Proactively participate in how to improve in use tools, processes, and daily team practices

We are looking for
- Educational background in IT or previous work experience in similar tasks
- Good understanding and experience with SQL
- General knowledge of deployment and performance monitoring in IT systems
- Previous experience in incident handling, problem management and change management - preferably using ITIL framework
- Ability to understand the big picture
- Fluency in English language, written and spoken
Familiarity with Weblogic and Kafka as well as knowledge of automation and testing tools are seen as beneficial. In addition, previous experience in the finance and banking sector are considered as an advantage.
