The public health program focuses on helping and educating the village communities about nutrition, sports and exercise, art therapy, sustainability, and other fields.

Tanzanian pharmacies are far from western standards. Specifically, small village pharmacies need training and advocacy to develop their prototypes.

The medical program also includes HIV/AIDS counselling advocacy, testing, and events for raising awareness.

Academic-level team leaders are daily supervising your internship. In addition, we monitor your work with a weekly plan and report system to secure you proceed well in your study program.

The internship outcome is learning to use and get experience to implement your education in developing country conditions with limited capacity. Also, to better understand the opportunities in a fast-growing economy.

Work hours are 6-8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

The program is ongoing, so we can adjust your start dates. We accept applications from all students and alums. Your placement is tailored to your background, experience, and interests to empower our daily work with the communities.

The typical daily tasks include practical fieldwork, planning, reporting, and social media advocative visibility tasks.

We provide 2x the local minimum wage of USD 100 per month for paid internships, payable when you stay a minimum of 4 weeks.

The start and end dates are flexible and accommodate other travel arrangements in Tanzania. However, personal costs include international flights, student permits, accommodation, and meals.

You and your visiting friends can enjoy sustainable tourism, safaris, and local tour options at a low cost.

We need your tentative arrival and departure to book you in and open your account.
